Connect Eight Video Cameras (or other Video Sources) to Quad/Multiplexer Digital
Processor which performs an Analog to Digital conversion on signals from each
input then digitally constructs 2 Quad Screen images that are output as a
standard 75 ohm 1 v p-p Composite Video signal to Video Monitor for Live Viewing
PLUS FULL-SCREEN FULL-RESOLUTION INTERLEAVED IMAGES from each Channel to VCR.
These interleaved recorded images are at the FULL RESOLUTION of RECORDING
DEVICE. (This contrasts with a recording of a Quad Screen Image where each image
is only ONE QUARTER of the resolution of recording device.) Monitor Output for
live viewing may be Quad Image, Sequentially Switching Images, any Manually
Selected input channel, alternating Quad Screens or Quad Screen 'A' with
channels 1, 2 & 3 in first three quadrants and 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8 sequentially
switching in fourth quadrant or Quad Screen 'B' with channels 5, 6 & 7 in first
three quadrants and 8, 1, 2, 3 & 4 sequentially switching in fourth quadrant.
During replay images may be viewed in Quad Screen, by Channel or in Frozen
modes. IMAGES may be REPLAYED WHILE RECORDING IS IN PROGRESS. Alarm inputs,
Recover input and Alarm output may be used to control a VCR for 'Event-Only'
recording. Audible Video Loss and Alarm buzzers alert user to intrusion and/or
interference with Camera video or power supply wiring. Log record of Alarm and
Video Loss events. Alarm period is programmable and may be used to control VCR
recording period. RS232 interface for remote control using a PC. BETTER THAN
SUPER-VHS IMAGE QUALITY
